Multiply:North
Everyone Everywhere is delighted to be partnering in a new series of conferences focused on church planting, pioneering and multiplication across England.
The first gathering, Multiply: North, takes place in Leeds on Tuesday 23 June and brings together Baptist, Anglican and ecumenical leaders who share a vision to see healthy churches planted and multiplied in new and renewed ways.
For Everyone Everywhere, a Baptist initiative committed to encouraging evangelism and the starting of new Christian communities, this partnership represents an exciting opportunity to work alongside Anglican colleagues and others in a spirit of shared mission. At a time when many churches are discerning fresh ways to reach new people with the good news of Jesus, collaboration across our traditions feels both significant and hopeful.
Multiply: North is designed both for those just beginning to explore church planting and for experienced pioneers and leaders. The day will offer practical wisdom, structured conversations and opportunities to build relationships with others engaged across a variety of contexts.
Contributors include Baptists Fiona Kirby-Smith and Alex Harris, alongside Christian Selvaratnam and Eleanor Sanderson from the Church of England.
Conversation themes during the day will include:
Building team culture for planting
Planting in rural contexts
Ministry among estates and low-income communities
Building partnerships across networks
Working with sacramental traditions
Creative and small-scale planting
The conference is the first in a wider series of Multiply gatherings taking place later in the year across the country, helping equip leaders and teams for mission in their local contexts:
Multiply:Pioneer on Saturday 17 October: Gather with others called to pioneer new worshipping communities in creative ways.
Multiply:Midlands on Tuesday 10 November: A church planting event for everyone who longs to reach new people, in new and renewed ways, with the good news of Jesus Christ.
